Welcome to planDisney, Becky! Thanks for sailing to us with your question.
I love that you are planning to take your little one on a Disney Cruise. I'm happy just thinking about the special memories you'll make and the photos you will take aboard the
Disney Dream. You'll enjoy looking back on those photos for years to come!
Disney Cruise Line does a fantastic job of making sure that their guests are happy, and this includes even the youngest cruisers. When
traveling with a little one, you have access to some great amenities, such as complimentary diaper disposal units, bottle warmers, bottle sterilizers, cribs, and playpens. If you'd like to use any of these items, simply ask your stateroom host on the day of embarkation. If you'd like to use a stroller during your cruise, you can swing by the Guest Services desk and ask to borrow one. High chairs will be available at every restaurant onboard, and you can request fresh puréed vegetables to be served to your little prince or princess in the main dining rooms or through
room service.
If you notice that you've accidentally left an essential baby item behind, you'll find a selection of items (including diapers, wipes, formula, baby food, pacifiers, and more) for purchase in the shops onboard. I know that traveling with a young child can feel daunting, but I want you to rest assured that you'll have access to what you need while sailing.
If you are interested in childcare services, the
"it's a small world" nursery! provides an opportunity to let your little one rest and play with capable Crew Members so you can enjoy some relaxation and entertainment onboard with just the adults. Nursery services are an additional charge, and reservations are required. Please inquire while onboard the ship at the nursery on the first day of your sailing. Reservations are popular and limited, so you might want to make this your first stop!
Becky, I hope your little one feels like royalty and that you feel pampered as well throughout your Disney Cruise vacation. Have an amazing time!
