Hi Amber! I saw that you have visited Disney while pregnant. Can you give me your best ideas for things to do while others are riding? I know there are things that pregnant ladies can't ride, so I'm looking for ways to continue the fun while waiting!

Hi Heather! Traveling to Disney while I was seven months pregnant was actually a lot of fun. There were many times that my husband would head off to ride something that I couldn't, but I didn't mind!

I really enjoyed looking through the gift shops and just sitting in the shade and people watching. I have to admit that I also took the opportunity to sample all of the wonderfully delicious snacks offered at WDW. Dole whips, Mickey bars, popcorn. . .I could go on and on!

If you don't mind visiting attractions alone, I would recommend going to see a show in the air-conditioning while others in your party ride some of the rides that you can't. Taking some time to yourself to relax in a cool room can really rejuvenate you and give you the energy to keep up with everyone! I also met as many characters as I could and got photos of them with my big pregnant belly. One day my son will see them and I'll tell him all about his "first" visit to Disney World.

One of the things we did for my son was to buy him his first set of personalized mouse ears for his first "real" visit. It was really a special trip for our family. I hope that you have a wonderful time as well!
