    Amber: One more question--what time do the monorail and ferry begin taking people to the Magic Kingdom? Thanks.. How did I make it without this panel?

    Hello Erin! I'm glad I could help with your previous question!

    I called Disney's transportation information line at 407-WDW-RIDE (407-939-7433) to confirm the following information for you. On most days the monorail begins running at 7:00 am. This will give you plenty of time to get to the Magic Kingdom before your early character breakfast. The ferry however, doesn't begin running until 45 minutes to an hour before the park opens. Depending on the time of your reservations, I would recommend taking the monorail, and maybe you could give the ferry a try later that day.

    On mornings when the Magic Kingdom opens early for extra magic hours, the schedule is about the same - about an hour before scheduled park opening.
