HI Amber, luv panel! Photopass CD? I am a huge picture taker (average 300+ pic a trip) & will ask any one to take a family pic w/my camera. would getting a photopass be a good idea? what would the pro be for me? Thxs for your opinion

Hi Mary Jane!  Thank you for your question! I'm happy to hear that you are enjoying the Moms Panel.

I really enjoy using the PhotoPass option on our vacations. Like you, I always come home with hundreds of pictures on my personal camera and at least a hundred on our PhotoPass.

I like to pre-order the PhotoPass CD because I like to have as many pictures as possible, even if some of them are duplicates. One of the big advantages to getting the PhotoPass CD is that you can add Disney borders, character signatures and park icons to the photos. In the past I have turned 150 original PhotoPass pictures into more than 1,000 by adding these extras. You can also crop the photos and turn them black and white. If you enjoy scrapbooking, the photos with the added borders are great!

Another thing that is available with the PhotoPass are the special "magic" pictures that some photographers can do. Some examples are Tinkerbell in your palm, and a sword fight with Captain Hook. These images are imposed on the picture, and are something different that you can't get with your own camera!

There are PhotoPass photographers at most of the character meet and greets, and I like that I'm able to enjoy watching my children interact with the characters instead of snapping photos the whole time.

I have found that the PhotoPass photographers are usually more than happy to take photos with your camera in addition to their own. Just ask them and they will most likely be happy to oblige!

Finally, I would suggest pre-ordering the CD for the $25 savings. When you return home, if you decide that you don't want to get the CD after all or you didn't get enough photos to justify the cost, you can get a full refund. It's totally risk free!

I hope this helps! Have a wonderful vacation!
