Hiya Rachel! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy, the count down to your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation is finally on! Can you believe that you will be off enjoying
Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration in just a few short weeks? How fabulous! There will be so much to enjoy during this special time, so I just know you're going to love it all. But, if you ask me, nothing tops the stunning
Beacons of Magic at all four theme parks. You've never seen the theme park icons quite like this, transformed into a glimmering EARidescent rainbow of colors and magic. I'll tell you, the first time I saw them, they took my breath away!
Now, before I go on and on about the World’s Most Magical Celebration, let’s get to your question so you can get back to planning your fabulous vacation. Getting groceries delivered to your hotel is such a great idea and is something I do on almost every Walt Disney World vacation. I’m a bit of a picky eater, so sometimes, it is good to have some familiar snacks from home in my backpack to munch on as I enjoy a day in the parks. So, I always like to order some snacks and a case or two of water to my
Disney Resort Collection hotel for my visit.
All you’ll need to do is build your order on Amazon and set the delivery address as your Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Before completing your order, be sure that your name is listed as the recipient on the order. If you’re not there when the order is delivered, the Cast Members working in Bell Services accept and hold your items until you can accept them. They will even make sure that any perishable items get refrigerated upon arrival. How great is that?!
One important thing to note is that should you want your groceries delivered to your room once you have checked in,
a fee of $6 (the amount is subject to change) will be charged to your room account. As an alternative, you are welcome to pick up the groceries from the Bell Services desk and bring them to your room yourself free of charge. I usually like to check on the location of my room and decide from there. Sometimes your room can be a decent distance from the hotel lobby, so you may not want to schlep your order such a long way!
I do hope I have been helpful to you today! If you have any other questions, please feel free to visit us again, as we would love to help out!
Have a magical day!
