We amazingly got reservations for a cruise to watch Illuminations... just wondering what the snacks and refreshments are. Thanks, You Moms and Dads are great!

Lucky you Kara!  This is my absolutely favorite fireworks cruise at Disney!  Perhaps it is because I have been watching Illuminations since it began and have many fond memories for the show but it is a wonderful excursion!

The snacks that are offered on the pontoon boats will be a variety of chip bags.  They will also provide water and sodas.  We often add to that and order something special from the Yacht and Beach Club resorts to be delivered directly to the boats.  Since we usually have had dinner before hand we opt for something sweet such as a specialty cake or chocolate covered strawberries. When it is an adult group we add wine or champagne.  The sky is the limit and you can go with the simple provided goodies or add to that on your own by calling the room service number of the resort.

Have a great time and lets hope the wind blows in the right direction for you to enjoy that evening.  If the wind is blowing in toward the boat ask about the goggles they are carrying now. We used them the last time and it really made a big difference in our enjoyment of the show!  You can't control mother nature and her winds so you just adapt!
