Where is an amazing, fun place to have dinner with the whole family?

    Hi Chrestina!

This question is tougher to answer than you might imagine!  There are so many fantastic choices for a fabulous family dinner at Disney that I almost left it to one of my fellow panelists.  However, I'm up for a challenge, so here are my thoughts:

    • If you are in the mood for a character meal, the most quintessential character dining experience (in my humble opinion) can be found at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort.  Here,  your family can dine with Mickey, Minnie and their pals in a very celebratory environment that many people think is a "must do" while at Disney.  Other great choices for character dining include Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom and 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian.
    • If your clan likes seafood, Coral Reef Restaurant at Epcot is a wonderful choice.  While you eat, you'll all have a great view of massive tanks filled with exotic sea life (and even an occasional diver).  The food is fantastic, and the scenery is magnificent.
    • If you are in the mood for fine dining, I'd suggest either Jiko at the Animal Kingdom Lodge (which, I think boasts some of the most creative dishes at Disney), California Grille at the Contemporary or Yachtsman Steakhouse (at the Yacht Club Resort) for delicious aged beef and red wine!
    • Other outstanding choices for a great time include Spoodles (a fun, casual mediterranean-inspired menu on the Boardwalk) and the new TRex Restaurant at Downtown Disney for a fun prehistoric meal!

So I couldn't narrow down my answer to one choice, but I think I've given you a number of great places to select while on your magical vacation!

    Bon Appetit!!
