    Amanda, We have three children under age five. We're looking to do character dining though it looks like much of the dining is within the theme parks. Does this mean we have to schedule our theme park visits around the character dining location?

    Hi Joe!  I really appreciate the question! You've come o the right place because I absolutely LOVE dining at Disney.  It just doesn't get much yummier in my opinion!

    I am very excited to say that character dining experiences are definitely not limited to the theme parks, so you will not have to schedule meal times around theme park visits!  In fact, many of my favorite character meals are located right inside of Disney Resort Hotels.  You will be able to click the links below for more information.

    When traveling to Disney World, you have many "out of the park" character dining options:

    -1900 Park Fare (Grand Floridian)
    -Chef Mickey's (Contemporary Resort)
    -'Ohana Best Friends Breakfast (Polynesian)
    -Cape May Cafe Beach Club Breakfast (Beach Club Resort)

    When traveling to my neck of the woods, Disneyland there are three tasty "out of park" options:

    -PCH Grille Surf's Up Breakfast (Paradise Pier Hotel)
    -Storyteller's Cafe (Grand Californian Hotel)
    -Goofy's Kitchen (Disneyland Hotel)

    Disney World advanced reservations are available up to 180 days in advance online or by calling (407)WDW-DINE / Disneyland: (714)781-DINE (60 days in advance).
