Hi Amanda, We are interested in visiting Disneyland Resort in the future and would love room recommendations at the Disneyland Hotel, keeping in mind that we have a teenaged, autistic son, who enjoys hotel breaks, especially at the pool. Thank you.

    Hi there Jacqueline,

After reading your question and taking all everything you've told me into consideration, I definitely think you'll be happiest with a room in the "Adventure Tower" which is the closest to Downtown Disney.  This means less walking time to and from the parks as well, and another bonus is the fact that the Disneyland Monorail Station is located just steps from the Tower exit.  This location is also ideal because it is located adjacent to the pool and dining areas in addition to the "Fantasy Tower" which is the main building that houses the lobby.

The Adventure Tower is home to the "view" rooms and many of these boast incredible theme park views which can be great because you may just feel like lounging around in your PJs one evening without having to worry about missing any of the magic!  You can watch the Disneyland fireworks right from your room and they even have a special television station that plays the fireworks audio so you'll feel like you're in the parks!  Another tip... if you do this one evening, be sure to check out the delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies that are served with a carafe of cold milk.  This lovely bedtime snack can be ordered from in-room dining and makes for a magical "evening in."

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
