Hi Amanda, thanks so much for sharing your experience! Did you use baby carrier on the ride or just hold the baby on your lap? Do you think it will be too tight for all 4 of us to try to be in one cart? Best wishes to your beautiful family of 5 :)

    Hello again, Jenny!

I am so pleased to be able to help you!  Thank you so much for your question and your kind words!

The vehicles are different for the two rides we are referring to, so I'll break them up we don't get confused.

Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin has a bench style seat that goes across the car.  In theory you could sit 3 across, but would not provide access for the middle person to the 'guns' used in the ride.  That person would, however have EXCELLENT access to the spin control.  In this ride, I've held  the little one (either in the carrier or on my lap), and my husband sat on the other side of the car with our other child in his lap (this was before baby #3).  This way all 4 can ride in one car.

Toy Story Mania has two separate seating areas designated for the riders, and it has riders in the front AND in the back (facing opposite directions), so the car can transport 4 individuals at a time (you are just on different sides of the same car).  With this ride, unless they were an infant, the children were put in their own seat, as (again) your 'gun' is positioned right in front of the rider's seat.  We have not used the baby carrier in this ride, and as you'll see, the restraint system is different from that of Buzz, so it doesn't provide much 'wiggle' room, as it does move faster.

I hope this was helpful!  Remember, if you have any additional questions or concerns about ride seating (once you arrive), just ask the Cast Member at the entrance to the attraction.  They will be more than happy to help!  (and of course I'm always here!)

    Have a magical vacation!
