Hi Jordyn!
Welcome to planDisney! I LOVE this question because going from park to park at the Disneyland Resort is super easy. Let's get you ready to park hop!
One Park Per Day theme park tickets can definitely be upgraded to
Park Hopper tickets with a little help from a Cast Member. While you can do this at the Disneyland Resort ticket booths, I would recommend doing it now by calling the "Tickets" phone number on the
Disneyland Phone Numbers page. They will help you get everything taken care of! You will probably need to make your
theme park reservations again, so check the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to make sure the days you need are still available when you're ready to call. I took a look today and September is wide open at the moment, so don't wait!
When you make your new park reservations you'll be choosing which park you want to visit to start your day. Once the clock strikes midnight...just kidding, park hopping is currently allowed at 11:00 AM...you'll be able to change parks whenever you'd like! It's so fun to be able to spend a morning in Fantasyland feeling like a princess (one glass slipper, please!) and then save the day at Avenger's Campus after lunch. So many magical options!
I especially love having Park Hopper tickets when I visit during
Halloween Time because there are some nights when Disney California Adventure Park closes early to host a separately ticketed event,
Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party. When you aren't going to the party it's nice to be able to "hop" back over to Disneyland Park to finish your day! There will be plenty of spooky surprises in both parks during your visit, including some fun character fashion, delicious treats, and so many pumpkins! Maybe we can convince the Fairy Godmother to transform one for us, I've always wanted to travel by pumpkin...
Hopefully you'll have your tickets magically transformed in no time, Jordyn!
Please let me know if I can help with other planning questions, and I hope all your dreams come true on your visit!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
