    Hello Amanda. Please help! I promised my animal-crazy niece age 6 an AK tour before I knew about age limit. Can you recommend a similar AK experience to ease her disappointment? She is easy to engage & has a long attention span so boredom isn't issue.

    I can understand why your niece is disappointed! I love Animal Kingdom. A tour there would be amazing!!

    I have to admit I couldn't think of anything off the top of my head because I've never actually done a tour at Animal Kingdom (but now that you ask, it's going on the top of my Disney To Do List!). So, I asked the rest of the Moms Panel and they delivered! Disney Dad, Brett suggested the Kids' Discovery Club at Animal Kingdom. I had forgotten about this! My kids are a little young to have ever done this but it's a great hands on activity nicely hidden in 6 areas around the park.

    Your niece can find the stations, complete the activity and then get a stamp. Once she collects all 6 stamps she gets a special stamp (and maybe some stickers or some other "reward"). There is a nice review of the whole program on stitchkingdom.com. Just search for "kids discovery club".

    I hope that works for you! My other suggestion is ask the Cast Members for suggestions or special insight about each attraction. You never know what interesting tidbit they might have for you. And of course, the Animal Kingdom Lodge is an experience in itself!
