Hi Amanda! What are one or two of your favorite family-friendly restaurants in the DL parks? Do I need reservations? Thanks for your help!

    Hello again Cathy,

If you have read my bio or any of my answers here on the panel, you have probably noticed that I am a self-described "Disney Foodie."  I absolutely love eating in all of the Disney Parks from coast to coast, and Disneyland is home to some of my favorite restaurants.

Disneyland offers many unique and delicious dining options ranging from fun and casual to upscale and romantic so there's something to suit just about any hungry tummy!  Although most of the Disneyland restaurants are "family friendly," when traveling with children there are a few "go to" locations that always top my list of Dining must dos.  I took the liberty of including my picks for the parks as well as the Disneyland Resort Hotels.

    Disneyland Park:
    Blue Bayou (Table Service)
    Carnation Cafe (Table Service)
Jolly Holiday Bakery and Cafe (Quick Service)

    California Adventure Park:
    Ariel's Grotto (Table Service)
Carthay Circle and Lounge (Casually Upscale Table Service)
    Flo's V8 Cafe (Quick Service)

    Disneyland Hotel:
    Goofy's Kitchen (Character Table Service)
    Tangaroa Terrace (Quick Service)

    Grand Californian Hotel and Spa:
Storyteller's Cafe (Table Service / Characters during Breakfast)

    Paradise Pier Hotel:
PCH Grill (Table Service / Character Breakfast)

Being able to secure walk-up reservations at some Disneyland dining locations is quite possible, but I always recommend making reservations in advance by either calling Disneyland Dining at (714)781-DINE or by emailing Dining@Disneyland.com with your name, phone number, requested locations, party size, and desired date and time!

Hope this helps, and please keep the questions coming!
