Hi Amanda, we have a large group of 18 that will be coming down to Orlando. We will be there 12/22-1/1. When are the best days to visit? We are planning on a 3 day pass.

    Hi Michelle!

Thank you so much for your question!  I really do love Walt Disney World at Christmas--it's a wonderful experience for the entire family to be completely immersed in the holiday spirit--and no one does that better than Disney!

As you can imagine, the parks are very busy at this time, and are typically very busy from right before Christmas until New Years.  If you have a 3 day pass, I would choose 2 or 3 parks to visit.  At this time of year, I might even suggest just 2 parks so that you have the chance of getting a little more done.  I would suggest that you definitely put Magic Kingdom on your list, and the other park is absolutely up to you!  We love each of the parks for different reasons, and of course we have our favorite things in each park!

If you are planning on making dining reservations, make sure that you do that now, as a party of 18 can be a challenge to accommodate.  There are many resorts that are a short walk, monorail or boat ride away from Magic Kingdom that might have better availability for a large group at this busy time of year.

Also keep in mind that the parks can and DO close because they reach capacity at this time of year, and if you are an off-property guest, you will be the first to be denied entry (as they close the parks to traffic in different stages).

    Have a magical vacation!
