Hi Katelynn and thanks so much for the question! I love looking stylish in the parks, but comfort is definitely key! When I travel to Walt Disney World, I usually pack a nice selection of sundresses with matching cardigans, jeans with cute tops, and of course...lots of Mickey prints! Casual dresses are always easy for me, because they involve one piece of clothing which means less to pack...plus the weather can be really nice in late February so I just pack a jean jacket and a Cardigan along with a pair of leggings or two to keep warm!
I find lots of comfy, Disney-themed tops online at the
Disney Store prior to travel, but I always find the best things after I arrive at Walt Disney World! My favorite places to shop within the resort are Summer Lace, located inside Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Sunset Club Couture, located in the Hollywood Studios theme park! These two shops carry a nice selection of cute, yet comfortable Disney inspired fashions and I always find something I can't live without! If you happen to visit Downtown Disney, be sure to check out one of my FAVORITE shops, Apricot Lane!
As far as shoes go, you'll want to wear something you can walk well in which means NO heels... even though I have been known to don wedges in the parks, I must advise against them! I am usually most comfortable in Flip Flops, my favorites being the Yoga Mat flops by Sanuk. I also live in my TOMS at Walt Disney World! They are really flexible and have molded to my feet for added comfort!
Here's wishing you a most magical (and fashionably blister-free) visit to Walt Disney World! -Amanda F.
