Hi, Amanda! How many days should I plan on for parks at Disneyland? We usually travel to WDW, so not used to just the 2 parks in DL. Is ther a park hopper option for tickets in DL, and if so do you suggest adding it on?

    Hi there Cathy,

So excited to hear that you are planning a magical vacation to Disneyland in sunny California! In the past, I would tell guests that it was possible to experience Disneyland in a few days, but things have changed in a big way!  There is now more to see and do than ever before and you won't want to miss a single thing!

With the recent expansion at California Adventure Park, a HUGE renovation at the Disneyland Hotel, as well as magical improvements and new offerings over at Disneyland Park, the Disneyland Resort is now the ultimate multi-day vacation destination!  To be honest, I would suggest planning for at least four full days, if not five!  You'll want to have plenty of time to explore the new and exciting offerings without having to feel rushed plus you'll want some extra time to relax by the amazing pools and soak in that California sunshine!

Disneyland does indeed offer the Park Hopper option and it works just like Disney World's service!  I highly recommend purchasing the Park Hopper option because you'll want the flexibility of being able to, for example, spend the morning at Disneyland, head out to grab lunch at Downtown Disney, stop back by the hotel for a swim, and then stroll over to California Adventure to catch a performance of World of Color and dinner at Carthay Cricle!  That may seem like a lot, but it's totally doable because everything is so close together a Disneyland!  Downtown Disney, both theme parks, and the Disneyland hotels are literally steps apart!

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
