Amanda - can't bring 15 days of clothes but don't want to do laundry either! Heard you could send your clothes down with Mousekeeping. Is this true? If so, how much per load. Do I have to worry about clothes getting lost or being shrunk? 57 days!!!!!!!!!

So tickled to know that you are crossing every "T" and dotting every "I" while finalizing your WDW vacation plans.  It is an honor to be here to help with such an undertaking!  15 days at Disney requires some planning and you are definitely on the ball.

All of the Disney Resort Hotels, including POP Century, offer a laundry service, but it's pretty expensive.  I have used it as a method of convenience from time to time, but have only sent in a few important garments I just HAD to have.  The garments were professionally cared for and arrived squeaky clean and hung neatly in my closet while I was out enjoying the parks..but it did come at a price, as you must pay "by the piece" rather than "by the pound."  It really depends on how much you're willing to spend.

Example Walt Disney World Laundry Service Prices++

    Shirts- $6.00
    Pants- $7.00
    T-shirts-$4.00
    Panties/Socks/Undershorts- $2 each ($6 Min.)

++Additional Fees: 5% Mandatory Environmental Charge

If you wind up having to do laundry on your trip, save time by bringing some of the "all-in-one" detergent/softener/dryer sheets and a baggie of quarters.  This way you can cut straight to the chase without having to find places to purchase laundry soap or make change.  Pop Century has 3 laundry rooms, so there's sure to be one near your room. (Wahers and Dryers both cost $2.00 per load, and if you have a BIG load, you may need two drying cycles)

Honestly, Jillian, after considering how quickly your laundry items will add up, it will probably be more lucrative to pay your airline's extra baggage fees and pack an extra bag of clothing. :)

    Until next time...,
