Amanda or Ari - I'm a Disneyland veteran trying to get an idea of comparable park sizes between Disneyland/DCA & each of the four WDW parks. The # of walkable acres for the WDW parks is not easy to find. Can you pls help with some perspectives? Thx muc

There is a saying that Disneyland could fit into the parking lot of the Magic Kingdom. Truth be told it is not that far off. I have spoken with my fellow Disneyland Resort mom Amanda and we agree that things are just larger in Orlando. I did a bit of research and my understanding is that Disneyland is approximately 85 and Disney California Adventure Park measures in at 55 acres. While those are both big, they just get larger in the South! The Magic Kingdom in Orlando is approximately 105 acres. From there it just keeps getting bigger. Epcot is about 135 acres while Disney Hollywood Studios clocks in at 300 acres. The largest of the whole group is Disney Animal Kingdom which is over 500 acres. As you can see, you need to make sure that you have comfortable shoes and proper clothing wherever you travel in the Happiest Place on Earth.

As a Los Angeles native I basically grew up at Disneyland. It has always been so easy to take my family on the short drive to the Happiest Place on Earth. Watching my daughters make magical memories reminds me why I keep coming back. Learn More About Ari
