We have always utilized the DAS for our son who is autistic. Would it be too forward to ask the CM to give us a return time to his favorite ride at customer relations so we can start our day sooner? Thanks moms and dads.

    Hi Jaynee,

We are happy to have you stop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your vacation planning questions!  Although the Disability Access Service (DAS) has converted from the previous paper system to the current digital system using the RFID-enabled tickets or MagicBand, the process by which it is utilized remains the same.  If you follow the previous informational link about DAS you will see that Guests who are utilizing DAS must go to the attraction to receive a DAS return time.  However remember that only one person will need to go to the attraction to receive the DAS return time.  Therefore if one person in your party wants to go to your son's favorite attraction to receive your DAS return time while the rest of your party does something else with your son, such as stops for a photo opportunity, your son will most likely be able to enjoy his favorite attraction sooner.  Also you are encouraged to make FastPass+ selections along with utilizing  DAS, thereby decreasing the amount of time your son needs to be in line and increasing his opportunity to experience a magical vacation.

I hope this information helps you with your vacation planning Jaynee.  As always thank you for stopping by with your questions and we hope to hear from you again as you continue to plan your upcoming adventure at Walt Disney World!
