Hi Diana!
Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!
Congratulations on booking
Disney's Wilderness Lodge for the end of September with free dining! That sounds like a great deal, and a lovely time of year to visit Walt Disney World.
However, what a wonderful place to spend your 10th anniversary in November, and the Christmas decorations are beautiful and definitely worth seeing. The decorations are usually all in place by the end of the first week of November.
The crowds through November are generally quite low, with the exception of Thanksgiving week, when they pick up to moderately busy (but definitely manageable), with high attendance on Thanksgiving Day.
The average high/low temperatures for September are 90/72 (with an average rainfall of 5.8 inches), and for November are 79/59 (with an average of 2.3 inches).
I have visited at both of these times of year, and both were very nice, with good crowd levels and very good weather - with much less rainfall in November, and lovely decorations to look at!
Have fun making your decision! If I can answer any more questions that could help you make your choice - including any questions about Wilderness Lodge (my favourite resort) - please come back and ask me. I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
