Cast Members aboard all
Disney Cruise Line ships truly feel like family to us because of their attention to our unique needs, and they're always ready to lend a helping hand - I remember many times towing my food tray trying to juggle my son and out of nowhere a Cast Member was right there to assist me right to my table! We enjoy our meals at
Cabanas, and I too, feel immense gratitude and wish to extend my appreciation for all the wonderful service. How very kind and thoughtful of you to want to express your appreciation!
To offer a
gratuity to the helpful and thoughtful Cast Members at
Cabanas, I always jot down their names because my memory is not very good, and I head down to the
Guest Services Desk near the Atrium Lobby and ask for a gratuity ticket in the amount I wish to offer with the Cast Member name on the gratuity ticket and then I'll take the gratuity ticket back up to Cabanas and hand it to the Cast Member myself, the same way we present gratuity tickets to the amazing serving team in the rotational dining rooms. While you're at the Guest Services Desk, if you wish to alter the previously set gratuity amount for any other Cast Member, you will be able to do so. I love doing this to show my immense appreciation for the incredible service on our sailings - it's so tough going back to reality after such pampering!
When ordering
Disney Cruise Line Room Service, even though my receipt usually says zero amount owing, I always make sure I leave a gratuity amount on the receipt, I am so grateful for those midnight snacks, especially those Mickey Mouse Premium Ice Cream Bars, so yummy! Have you tried one yet?
Barbara, don't forget to use your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to manage your plans before and during your sailing, I especially love the
Onboard Chat feature so I can keep track of my family who likes to disappear from my sight once onboard while I indulge in my reading, knitting and specialty coffees up at
Cove Café - my
Café Fanatic reward cards sure do fill up quickly!
