We have always stayed at Port Orleans Riverside but have been looking at Pop Century for our next trip. I’m concerned that the room size will be too small for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 adult children). We seem to tap out the room at POR already.

Hello Michael and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Choosing which of the fantastic Walt Disney World Resort Hotels is often a point of considerable debate in our family. Our family's first trip included a stay at Disney's Pop Century Resort, so we have a nostalgic connection to the bright, giant pop culture icons. However, at about 260 square feet the rooms are approximately 54 square feet smaller than those offered at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. And, while we find the vibrancy of Disney Pop Century Resort upbeat and fun, our entire family finds the ambiance of Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside to be more relaxing.  We also enjoy the access to Disney Springs via a soothing ferryboat ride.

While I would be happy to stay at either resort since your family already feels to fill up the rooms at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside I think you will be more comfortable sticking to a moderate resort category.

If you have more questions, come on back to the Disney Park Moms Panel; we love to help!

    See ya real soon,
