We have always stayed at Pop Century. This time we are wanting to upgrade. I am thinking Wilderness Lodge, however I want something like POP"s bus system. Pop century had its buses to its self PLease Help Thanks so much!!!

    Hi Kory,

Upgrading to Disney's Wilderness Lodge?  Sounds like a brilliant idea!  (Of course I would think this as it is my favorite resort in the whole world).  I happen to think this is the most brilliantly themed of all the Disney resorts, and that's saying something because Disney is amazing in its ability to carry a storyline throughout its resort properties.  But there's just something extra special about this turn-of-the-century, American National Parks of the Northwest-themed resort!

Disney's Wilderness Lodge has several transportation options worth considering.  If you are heading to the Magic Kingdom, the resort bus will take you four minutes to get there and the bus won't stop at any other resorts. If you're not in such a hurry to get to the Magic Kingdom, definitely take the boat from the dock behind the resort.  This is such a delightful ride across Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon!   The Wilderness Lodge bus does often make an extra stop at the Fort Wilderness Resort when traveling the loop between the Lodge and Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios.  When I'm headed to Epcot I prefer to take the boat to Disney's Contemporary Resort, hop the monorail to the Ticket & Transportation Center, and then switch there to the monorail headed to Epcot.  For me, this is more fun than taking the resort bus.

Good luck choosing between Pop Century and the Wilderness Lodge.  While my obvious favorite is Disney's Wilderness Lodge, you really can't make a bad choice between these two resorts.

    Have a magical vacation!
