Have always stayed offsite, but grandkids want to stay onsite in Nov. What resort should we consider for 2 adults and 3 kids(3,6,8).

    Hello Josephine.
Disney has three levels of hotels:  value, moderate and deluxe.  Not all rooms will take 5 people, but if you click this link you will find details about those resorts that can accommodate 5 people per room.

In the value resort category, the All-Star Music Resort has a limited number of 'family suites', which sleep up to 6 Guests.  They have a separate bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a pull-out sofa and 2 single sleepers in the living room, 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette (which has a fridge, a real bonus!).  The All-Star Music resort is our number one choice.  We love the pools and a wonderful atmosphere.

In the 'Moderate' category, the Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort can sleep up to 6 people.

There are eight 'Deluxe Villa' Resorts that can sleep up to 8 people, but those may be getting too big for you.  Check out some of the links above to see what hits your fancy.

Josephine, I know you will have a magical time with your grandchildren!  Enjoy!

Walt Disney World stole my heart when my parents introduced me to the magic the year it opened. I fondly remember my first 'Mickey Mouse in a Glass House' balloon! I still visit with my parents-and now with my husband and our two teens. Learn More About Lynn
