We have always stayed at Deluxe or Moderate resorts and thinking about staying at a Value resort this summer. How much longer are you on the buses since the Value resorts are further away. Would it be easier to catch a bus to the monorail and then hit MK

I've stayed at value, moderate and deluxe resorts. Bus service doesn't seem to function any better at the deluxe resorts.

In fact, I found the bus service at Pop Century recently to be quite timely compared to times that I've waited for the bus at the Grand Floridian!

Pop Century is close to Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Yes, it'll be a longer ride to the Magic Kingdom. However, you should take the bus directly to the Magic Kingdom from any of the value resorts. The bus will drop you off close to the Magic Kingdom's entrance.

The All-Star value resorts (Music, Sports and Movies) are also close to all resorts except the Magic Kingdom.

I would choose the resort that best suits your budget for this summer rather than worrying about the transportation, unless you plan on devoting all of your time to the Magic Kingdom.

From the Pop Century or All-Star resorts to the Magic Kingdom is about a 30 minute bus ride. This is the same amount of bus travel time that it takes from the moderate resorts to the Magic Kingdom. With the exception of the deluxe Magic Kingdom resorts, most deluxe resorts take the same amount of time to reach the Magic Kingdom.

For me, the biggest concern about the value resorts is the smaller room size.

Hope this helps with your decision!
