    we have always stayed at ASM.thinking of splurging and staying Carribean beach.is it worth the extra expense if we already are thrilled w/ ASM? what is different or special between the two?we liked the convienience of the smaller hotel.will CB overwhelm us

    I am all for trying new resorts, but it sounds like you already love your resort at All-Star Music, so I say stick with what you know you like.  

    You really cannot beat the price of the All-Star Resorts.  You get so much magic for the money!  And you are correct about Caribbean Beach:  It is huge!  You will find it is a lot more walking to get anywhere, and depending on the room location you could have up to a 20+ minute walk just to get to the Food Court. 

    Since you like the size of the All-Star Music, if you do decide to upgrade to a Moderate Resort, you might want to look into Port Orleans French Quarter.  It is the smallest of the Moderates with just about 1,000 guest rooms.  Everything is very convenient to walk to and there is just one bus stop which I really like.

    For your next magical vacation, stick with your All-Star Music.  Then, take an afternoon to do some resort hopping to check-out the other properties for a future stay in Walt Disney World.
