do you always have to make reservations for the character dining

    Hi Eileen!

Reservations for any meal are not required, but they are certainly highly suggested.  Character meals especially are very popular, so making an advance reservation to guarantee dining is what the majority of guests do.  It is always possible to get in as a walk up, but that does not always happen.  If you know what date you will be visiting, I recommend that you make a reservation for the restaurants you will not want to miss.  If you decide you do not want to dine there, you need to cancel a day before to avoid any penalties.  You can make reservations online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.

    Have a magical day!
