Character Experiences at Walt Disney World are a great way to meet your favorite Disney friends and make some magical memories. There are many locations where you can see, hug, and take photos with the characters - even get their autographs!
In Magic Kingdom Park, you can meet classic characters like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Disney Princesses, and more at various locations throughout the park, such as Town Square Theater,
Pete’s Silly Sideshow, and Princess Fairy Tale Hall. You can also make Advance Dining Reservations to dine with Winnie the Pooh and Friends at
The Crystal Palace, or with Cinderella and other princesses at
Cinderella’s Royal Table - inside Cinderella Castle!
In EPCOT, you can meet Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, and other classic characters near Spaceship Earth in Future World, or Donald Duck at the Mexico Pavilion in World Showcase. You can also enjoy a character meal with Chip ‘n’ Dale and friends at
Garden Grill Restaurant, or a royal gathering of Disney Princesses at
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. You'll also find several Characters in World Showcase, such as Snow White in Germany or Belle in France, so keep your eyes out for them! If you're a Disney Visa Cardmember, you can access a private photo opportunity with some special Disney friends near Journey Into Imagination with Figment.
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can meet characters from Toy Story, Star Wars, Frozen, and more at various locations throughout the park, such as Toy Story Land, Star Wars Launch Bay, and Celebrity Spotlight. You can have breakfast with Disney Junior Stars or lunch/dinner with Minnie and Friends at
Hollywood and Vine.
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, you can meet characters from The Lion King, Up, and more at various locations throughout the park, such as Discovery Island, DinoLand U.S.A., and Rafiki’s Planet Watch. You can dine with Donald Duck and his pals at
Tusker House Restaurant - one of my favorite Character meals at Walt Disney World!
It's easy to find your favorite Characters by using the
My Disney Experience Mobile App! When you open the app, select the map symbol at the bottom of the page (the icon second from the left). Then select "Characters" from the drop-down menu in the top center of the next page. You have the option to use the "Filters" tab to select a specific theme park, or the "Show List" feature to see all the Character Experiences and locations.
