I always get extremely thirsty walking around theme parks. Does Disney offer water fountains?

    Hi, John!

THE number one rule at Disneyland is to have fun...after all, you are at the Happiest Place on Earth! The second rule is to stay HYDRATED! It is so important to drink plenty of water. With the sun, the heat, and all the walking, water is a must.

There are plenty of water fountains located in the parks. This handy-dandy map will guide you to the locations, but most times they are simply located near the restrooms. Feel free to stop for a drink at any time or even refill a water bottle that you carry around with you. Another option is to stop by any counter service location and ask for a complimentary cup of ice water. A cast member will be happy to serve you.

In addition to staying hydrated, take plenty of breaks. Relax in the shade, enjoy a long lunch in an air conditioned restaurant, or even head back to your resort for a mid-day break. By pacing yourself, you will enjoy your magical time in Disneyland even more!

Wishing you a magical visit to Disneyland!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
