we always drive & have our car at disney. considering flying. im nervous i will hate having to wait on buses and figure out the correct way to get from point a to point b. if you had your choice, do you prefer your own or disney transportation? thanks.

    Hi Tarah!

I don't think that I have ever read a question that just jumped off the page and said "Answer me, Answer me!"  That is, until now.  As a fellow Louisiana girl, I have been in your shoes before and I have just the answer for you.  While we drive about 80% of the time, I must admit, flying is great!  Sure, you have to limit what you pack and you lose a certain amount of flexibility, but it is worth it.  Flying out of New Orleans will have you to the Orlando airport in about an hour and a half, compared to the 10-12 hours that it takes us to drive.  Very, very nice!

Even when we have our own car, we rely almost exclusively on Disney transportation.  It is simply the easiest and most convenient way to get almost everywhere on property.  I want to let you in on a little secret that has made my life sooo much easier...the Transportation Wizard found on www.OurLaughingPlace.com.  This gizmo will compute the quickest route from point A to point B and even offer alternatives.  It is also available as an App for your iPhone - how cool is that?  So please take my advice, sit back, relax and let Disney do the driving!

    Much pixie dust,
