We are going to Aluani June 27,2023 . Can I purchase the Disney Photo Pass + One Week through the Disneyland App and use it in Hawaii? Also I don’t see that as an option on the site .I see photo pass +genie and other options. Do we get a DVC discount?

    Aloha, Charles!

What can I say except you're welcome here at planDisney.  How exciting that your upcoming trip to Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa is just on the horizon.  See where the line in the sky meets the sea, Charles? It calls me, as there's no place I'd rather be than on flying high on a Hawaiian roller coaster ride at Aulani.

Charles, I did a little digging for the treasure that you seek.  I called both Disneyland Resort and Aulani to see if your Disney PhotoPass+ One Week purchased through the Disneyland app could be used in Hawaii.  The answer was that they are unsure, and likely not as the PhotoPass services are separate and work differently.

At Aulani, you can pick up a PhotoPass card from one of the photographers and you can continue to use it so that all of your PhotoPass pictures can be captured on this card.  When you are ready to view or purchase your photos, you can visit the PhotoPass Imaging station and if you like, and purchase all of the digital downloads for $99 (prices subject to change.)

If, for example, you were visiting Disneyland before visiting Hawaii and already have the Disney PhotoPass+ One Week package, you could see if your PhotoPass card from Aulani can link to your account. But I wouldn't recommend purchasing it just to use in Hawaii, because if it doesn't work, then you would have paid for something you weren't able to use.

I hope this helps you, Charles!  If you have any further Aulani questions, stop back and see me here.  At planDisney, we are your vacation planning 'ohana and that means nobody gets left behind.

A hui hou (it means "see you real soon" in Hawaiian),
