Although we've been to WDW three times now, this will be our grand-daughters first time to see Mickey. I've heard there are special treats for "first-timers"; is this true? What kind of things can we expect? Thank you!

    Hi, Charlotte!

Let me be the first to welcome your granddaughter to Walt Disney World.  Watching her cute little face the first time she sees Cinderella Castle is going to be amazing!

You will want to stop by any Guest Services location for a "My First Visit" button.  Your princess can wear this to let everyone know about this special first visit.  She may hear Cast Members greet her with "Welcome!" when they see her button.

If you want to do something special, you may want to consider a delivery to your room from the Disney Florist.  They have fun packages that include tiaras, autograph books, sweet treats and more.   Check our their website at

Make sure your granddaughter remembers this special vacation!  Perhaps you can keep her Key to the World card, her First Visit button, take pictures, etc.  Put these all together in a special memory book that she can cherish.

I hope this is a magical time for all of you.  If you have any other planning questions, come on back! The Moms panel is happy to help.
