    Although Old Key West is not my home base I would like to know when I can make reservations for Oct 3, 2015

    Hi Joel! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Not your home resort? No problem! The BEST thing about your Disney Vacation Club membership is the freedom and flexibility to customize your vacation experience every time. That means you can reserve accommodations at your non-home resort up to 7 months in advance of your check-in date.

    For a visit to Walt Disney World Resort beginning October 3, 2015 you can begin making reservations March 3, 2015 that's the approximate 7-month window. Everything is subject to availability of course, but if you start trying when your eligibility window begins you should be fine.
