Although my kids are teenagers, I thought it would be great to experience to Chef Mickey's character breakfast. Unfortunately, 4 months advance notice still isn't enough for a reservation! Are walk-ins accepted? How long a wait can we expect?

    Hi Nathalie!

I totally understand!  My kids are teenagers too, and they still love eating with Mickey and friends at Chef Mickey's.  In fact, we are taking them in November with another teenager that has never been to Disney World and they are all very excited!

My first suggestion is to look up the Disney Dining Buddy service.  This service is not affiliated with the Walt Disney World company, but I have personally used it a few times in the past.  You give them a date/time you want to eat at a particular place and they monitor the reservations and alert you when there is an opening that  matches your request.  You can then book it yourself if it works for you.  Each request is about $8.00.  You can also keep checking back for openings yourself, but I have had better luck using the service than just doing it on my own.

As for walk-ins...we have done this before.  We got there before the restaurant opened and were able to be seated in about 30 minutes.  However, if it is a very busy time, they can turn walk-ins away or it could be a very long wait.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
