Although I’m in Australia, I will be purchasing 2 Annual Passes (myself & daughter) for 2019. I assume I buy it online directly through the Disney site, but what will I receive or what can I expect? Will something be shipped to me? Thanks.

    Hi Lynette,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

Even though we’re Canadian, my husband and I have had some form of Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass since about 2005. This means that you certainly aren’t alone as an “international” Annual Passholder, though I will note that your flight to Orlando is much longer than ours!

You don’t need to receive anything in the mail in order to be able to use your Annual Pass to make FastPass+ selections and use your other Annual Passholder-related entitlements. Just make sure that the Annual Passes are properly linked to you and your daughter’s My Disney Experience accounts and you should be good to go.

The only wrinkle as international Guests: because MagicBands can’t be shipped internationally, you’re going to have to send them to a United States address in order to receive them. You can even have them sent to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, if you’d prefer. Please note, however, that you don’t absolutely need to have your “Passholder” MagicBands in order to use your Annual Passes; my husband and I never take them as we prefer not to add to our growing collection.

I hope my answer helps you plan your 2019 vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,
