Hi Mara!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your
Very Merrytime Disney Cruise is fast approaching and will be here before you know it! I love the holiday themed sailings with the extra décor, added activities and not to forget the incredible, life-sized Gingerbread House on display filling the atrium with delicious aromas! I can’t think of a better way to kick off your holiday season than alongside Mickey and friends; oh, what fun you will have!
I think a cruise is the perfect vacation for extended families because with so many things to do, there is something for everyone! I checked with Disney Cruise Line and they confirmed that you can ask for the verandahs to be connected for the two staterooms that you will be in for your week at sea. What fun to have the option to enjoy the verandah all together! Additionally, when you dock at Disney’s Castaway Cay, your staterooms will face Disney’s private island giving you a great view of the beach and crystal-clear waters! Please ask your stateroom host or hostess to open the partition between the staterooms for you once you arrive onboard and they will be happy to accommodate you.
Make sure everyone in your travel party has the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app downloaded to their smartphones prior to embarkation and then once onboard register for the chat feature and exchange chat numbers. This is a convenient way to keep in touch with each other while onboard – and it has super fun Disney-themed emojis that I am certain my own Dad will get a kick out of when he cruises with us next year!
Wishing you a FANTASTic adventure at sea with many magical memories made!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
