Is Altamonte Springs too far to stay the night before our Port Canaveral Disney Cruise? We are sailing on the Disney Dream in Feb. 2012. I found a great loction with an indoor pool that the kids would enjoy and I can get the room free with reward point.

    Hi Deborah!

I don't think it's too far at all!  It's a straight shot down I-4 and then onto the 528 East to Port Canaveral.  It will only take about 90 minutes, though with a lot of traffic, it might take as long as 2 hours!

The Dream is a fabulous ship!  I had the best time on it this past January!  Enjoy and be sure to try out the AquaDuck!  It's looks and sounds scarier than it really is; it's more like a very nice lazy river in my opinion!

Enjoy planning your magical Disney Dream cruise and write back if you have any more questions!
