I already have tickets that were set to expire dec 2020. I can’t figure out how to make a reservationt

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Alisha!

I’m glad you stopped by planDisney with your Disneyland Resort question. It sounds like you’re as excited as I am that the magical theme park gates will reopen soon! I’m not sure exactly what type of theme park tickets you have, but as you may have heard, many tickets with unused days were granted an expiration date extension to December 16, 2021. It’s possible the extension applies to your tickets from last year, so here’s one way to check!

Using the Disneyland mobile app, you should be able to find any tickets linked to your Disney account. Open the app, then tap on the icon that looks like three horizontal lines near the bottom of the screen to reach the main menu. Select "Tickets and Passes" to display any linked tickets. If there aren’t any, tap the plus symbol and then “Link Tickets & Passes.” You can enter the ticket ID number manually or scan the bar code for each ticket with your phone’s camera. Once the tickets are added in your app, you should be able to see the updated expiration date of each one, if applicable.

Next, you’ll need to secure a theme park reservation. On the home screen of the Disneyland app is a section labeled “Park Reservations.” Tap “Manage or Make Reservations” to reach the reservations page (the same page you’ll reach if you choose to access the system through Disneyland.com instead). Tap “Book Theme Park Reservation'' to create your party. On the next screen, all your linked tickets should appear and you can select which ones you want to use to create the reservation. After a couple more clicks, your reservation date will be confirmed and you’ll be well on your way to enjoying a practically perfect day at the Happiest Place on Earth!

I hope this answer is helpful, Alisha, and that you’re able to plan a pixie-dusted vacation soon! Please send us any other questions you may have.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
