Season’s Greetings, Erin!
Thank you for bringing your question to us at planDisney, we’re so happy to have you! 3 chEARs, you’re on your way to the
Disneyland Resort during the merriest time. I love seeing the
Disneyland Resort light up for the holidays. It's truly breathtaking.
Since you are planning on visiting Disneyland, the same day as one of the
Disney Merriest Nites, you will need
tickets for this special event to stay past normal park hours and experience this event. Otherwise, you will have to leave at the start of the event which should be around 8:00 p.m. I did take a look at tickets available for this event and it seems as though it has sold out for most nights. Depending on
theme park hours, and if you have a
Park Hopper ticket, you can plan to leave Disneyland when the event starts and hop on over to Disney California Adventure Park, subject to hours and availability.
Erin, if you weren’t able to purchase the special event tickets, I recommend arriving at Disneyland the moment it opens to maximize your time. My family finds that we are always able to do and enjoy more of the parks as soon as they open. Rope Dropping, as they call it, is our favorite time to be in the parks! I think you will find it to be a great time to visit as well.
I hope this helps answer your question, Erin. If there’s anything else you need, don’t hesitate
to ask!
