We already have tickets purchased and reservations for the parks. I received a bar code via email, we don't have magic bands, is that enough to enter to the park?

Hello, Carlos Luis! Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your question. Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is only a week away! Let's get your tickets in order so you're ready to head straight to the magic!

Since you've already bought your tickets and made your Disney Park Pass reservations, you're well on your way to your Walt Disney World adventure. MagicBands are convenient and fun, but they're not necessary to enter the theme parks. You'll just need to have Admission Cards issued to you that you can then use for every day of your trip. You can go to any Guest Relations location with your confirmation email and they'll be happy to swap it out for your Admission Cards. You may need to show your photo ID and the credit card you used to purchase the tickets, so just keep that in mind. In fact, if you have a little time the day before you start hitting the theme parks, I'd take a jaunt over to Disney Springs and pick up your tickets at the Disney Ticket Center there. That will save you time the next morning when you just want to tap in at the parks and get right to the fun!

Carlos Luis, speaking of time-savers, make sure you have the My Disney Experience app on your phone for Mobile Ordering meals on-the-go. You'll order and pay right in the app, then click on "I'm Here" when you're ready for Cast Members to prepare your food. You'll get an alert in your app to pick up your meal, and then you'll be back to the magic in no time!

I hope this helps you make the most of your Disney days, Carlos Luis. Have fun, and please come see us again if you have any more questions. We're always here to help!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
