Walt Disney World in sight of the castle ready to fly with Peter Pan, cruise with yo-ho-ho singing pirates, and enjoying all the Mickey shaped food!
Carissa, on our latest trip I had the same issues when trying to add
Genie+ to our previously purchased tickets. When I'm stumped with a ticket or reservation issue, I use a Cast Member to assist me. I visited Guest Services in person the day before we visited parks to add Genie+ and a Cast Member quickly and easily added the new system to our length of stay. I believe a phone call to the existing ticket line at (407) 934-7639 would work as well. Disney has announced anyone wishing to opt into the program will be able to, so no worries about Genie+ add-ons running out.
Adding Genie+ in advance gives you the benefit for your entire length of stay. If you desire Genie+ to grant your wishes only on select days of your visit, you must add it the day of. You may purchase it beginning at 12:00 am midnight the day of your park reservation.
I did find Genie+ markedly reduced our time spent waiting in line. Grab your first
Lightning Lane pass as soon as possible (7:00 am for Guests staying at a
Walt Disney World Resort; park opening for other Mouseketeers), so you can spend less time in line and more time enjoying zipping and dipping on roller coasters and meeting your favorite characters.
