Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Krystal!
Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for trusting us to answer your question, I'll be more than happy to help. First, let me start with ‘Hooray! You’re going to Walt Disney World!’. You must be so excited about planning your visit. I’m not sure about you, but the moment I’m on the Walt Disney World looking at resorts or
vacation packages, my excitement kicks in. I'm pretty much unstoppable from there with my list of must-dos. You should see the notebook I have filled with dates, resort options, and random calculations to find the best offer for my family. To me though, it’s part of the excitement.
Krystal, since you do already have theme park tickets, you’ll want to give Walt Disney World
a call to see the different options you have when booking your room and possibly adding a
dining plan. Typically, when it comes to vacation packages, everyone in the room has to be booked under the same entitlements and since you already have theme park tickets, that might be a little tricky to do online without the magical help of a Cast Member. What I recommend is, to start by viewing which
resorts you’re interested in staying at, then calling Walt Disney World to complete that booking for you. The Cast Member on the other line can complete that reservation process for you and even offer the best route to take using your existing tickets. Once that is completed, you’ll be able to take your reservation number and use that to link everything to your
My Disney Experience account. This is my favorite part, seeing my resort countdown and every so often looking at my future plans. It helps ease the arrival anticipation.
After you have everything booked, you can start to consider all the other fine details, like purchasing
Lightning Lane or
scheduling any dining reservations you may want to enjoy during your visit. It’s your vacation, make the most of it!
I hope this helps answer your question so that you can finalize your booking. Please let me know if there’s anything else we can do to help prepare you for this upcoming visit. Until then, happy planning, and have a magical trip!
See ya real soon,
Shantel
