I am already starting to think about planning for a trip either October 2021 or January 2022. At that time there will be new rides that won't be open when FP+ booking starts. Will I be able to book FP+ for them? Assuming the service returns by then.

    Hi Ciarra,

Thanks for bringing your question about FastPass+ to us here at planDisney! I'm so glad to see that you are planning for a 2021 or 2022 visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth! There are so many new and exciting things on the horizon for the Walt Disney World Resort that you'll be tweaking and adjusting your plans right up until you arrive!

2021 promises to be an exciting year within the Walt Disney World Resort as it celebrates its 50th anniversary!  Celebrations and events will be sure to happen park wide, so make sure that you follow the Disney Parks Blog for any late breaking news!  If you fancy a meal in orbit, Space 220 can accomodate you for an out of this world dining experience.  Scheduled to open in 2021, Space 220 is a new restaurant offering within the MISSION: SPACE expansion. Also in Epcot, you and your family will be able to experience the all new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction.  Also scheduled to open for 2021, the attraction boasts the title of being one of the world's largest enclosed roller coasters!  Although originally slated for a 2020 opening, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure in Epcot is most likely headed for a 2021 opening! You'll be able to experience Gusteau's kitchen from a unique perspective as you 'shrink' down to Chef Remy's size!

Ciarra, currently the FastPass+ option is unavailable for guests to book.  We do not know when FastPass+ may return for 2021 or 2022.  Currently, in order for guests to experience any attractions within the parks, you will need a Disney Parks Pass reservation.  The Disney Parks Pass is available for bookings through 2021!  My suggestion is that you book a park reservation now, and should FastPass+ be reintroduced, you can then chose the attractions to experience. If an attraction is scheduled to open after FastPass+ is operational, you would need to check continually for a reservation time.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
