Hey there, Taylor, and welcome to planDisney. Wow, you will be at Walt Disney World Resort during Halloween. Be sure to check with the front desk about any special characters or events at your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel to add a bit of extra magic. We stayed at Disney's Polynesian Village one year and Stitch came out dressed as Elvis. It was awesome!
I think your question is asking about booking hotel rooms near each other in the same Resort hotel. Let me clarify some terminology first. Adjoining rooms are two rooms near each other while connecting rooms share an interior door that connects the two rooms. If rooms are adjoining or connecting and your reservations are linked then Disney will do their best to position everyone close together but it is not guaranteed.
I recommend your family member call
Disney Resort Reservations and speak to a Cast Member with you on the phone. While making the Resort hotel reservation ask that the rooms be linked and make a note on both accounts for them to be connecting or adjoining or at the very least near each other. If you use an Authorized Disney Travel Planner, they will need to submit the request for you. Remember, any other reservations including
dining, special event tickets, such as
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and
Lightning Lane Passes will need to be adjusted for the new group size and it is possible that there will not be the same availability. Dining reservations may be modified on the
My Disney Experience Mobile app as reservations show real-time availability.
Taylor, your adventure is happening in a little over a month. Do you have your spooktacular costume ready? If you have any follow-up questions please visit

Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
