We have already received our passes to get in Disney World. Do we have to show ID as well?

Hi, Lorie! Welcome back to planDisney! We always love it when our friends stop by for another visit!

Now that Santa is back at the North Pole, it's almost time to ring in the New Year. Can you believe how fast the year has gone by? And you'll be ready for a magical 2022 when you ring it in at the Walt Disney World Resort!

Lorie, it sounds like you have everything you need to get your vacation started as soon as you arrive. With your Admission Cards in hand (or MagicBands on your wrists!), as long as you've made Disney Park Pass reservations for the theme parks you plan to visit each day, you're good to go. Since you already have your tickets, you won't need to show ID to enter the parks; just walk right up to the entrance, touch your card or band to the tapstile, and let the magic begin!

If you need a little last-minute inspiration, be sure to check out planDisney's Instagram page! We post some of our favorite tips and advice there, along with photos and videos from the theme parks and beyond. You're sure to get a bit of Disney pixie dust just in time for your vacation! You'll find the fun at @plandisneypanel.

Thank you so much for sending us your question, Lorie! I hope this helps you have an amazing time at the Walt Disney World Resort. Happy New Year from all of your planDisney pals!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
