Hi Michelle,
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
It's wonderful to hear you're planning to
celebrate your daughter's birthday at the Disneyland Resort. I can imagine you're super excited for all the cherished memories you'll create for her special day!
It's helpful to know that you'll need both a theme park ticket and a theme park reservation to visit a Disneyland Resort theme park. It's also good to know that the Theme Park Tickets & Reservations system makes planning your visit easier by combining the steps for buying theme park tickets and making theme park reservations.
When you use the
Theme Park Tickets & Reservations system to purchase new tickets, you're completing two steps at the same time -- selecting your theme park tickets and selecting the dates for your theme park reservations based on reservation availability.
If you are at the step where you are prompted to "Reserve Your Ticket Date" and you're seeing that a date is crossed out, you wouldn't be able to select that date to purchase tickets because there are currently no reservations available for that date.
One suggestion for you is to keep checking the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar first to see if anything changes with reservation availability.
Michelle, here's wishing your daughter a very happy birthday, and here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!
Jerry
