Hi there, Enrique! It's a pleasure to welcome you to planDisney! Thank you so much for stopping by with this great question.
There are about a million reasons I love being a Floridian, but high on the list is being just a hop, a skip, and a jump from the Walt Disney World Resort. It's wonderful to plan a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth anytime I need a little pixie dust.
And of course, buying
Florida Resident Tickets is a great perk, too! Floridians can
verify their residency online by filling out a form at the time of purchase. Since you've already bought your tickets, this might be a bit more of a challenge. One thing that might work is to hop into the
My Disney Experience app on your phone and see if you can do it there. Look for the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of your screen, then click on "Tickets and Passes" on the next page. That will show you all of the tickets linked to your account. If you have an option there to "Customize Ticket," you might be able to add your Florida resident info there. If you don't see that option, go back to the next page and scroll down to the tile that says "Chat With Us." You can type in your question there and a Cast Member will answer you directly. It may take a bit, but you'll get a notification when someone hops on the chat with you, so you don't have to wait on hold. I use this feature a lot, and I've gotten tons of help from it!
To answer your second question, you can absolutely leave and return to the same park on the same day with just your regular ticket, so you won't need to upgrade to the Park Hopper Option for that. So there's some good news!
Enrique, I hope you're able to put the finishing touches on your vacation plans. You'll be right in the middle of the magic before you know it! Have a great time, and please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
