Heigh-Ho, Heigh-Ho, Jim! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with such a great planning question.
Eeeek! In just weeks, you'll be arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth, ready to begin your magical adventure. How exciting! The holiday season is my absolute favorite time to visit
Walt Disney World Resort. With the beautiful decorations, festive music, twinkling lights and smell of gingerbread around every turn, there just seems to be extra magic in the air. I'm so excited for you and your travel party to experience the magic, and since seven Dwarfs are better than six, let's chat about adding your extra Guest!
I think you will be
Happy to hear that you can absolutely purchase an extra ticket for the same dates for your additional Dwarf, I mean ... Guest, as long as there is
Theme Park Pass availability for the same dates. You will just have to book their Theme Park Pass reservations separately, as you cannot add Guests to an already existing Park Pass reservation.
If you are purchasing the tickets and managing the plans for your entire group, you can log in to your
My Disney Experience account,
purchase the extra ticket and then make
Theme Park Pass reservations for the same dates and parks that you already have booked for your group. If your seventh Guest already has a My Disney Experience account, just make sure that they are linked to your
Family & Friends list before you purchase the tickets and make their Theme Park Pass reservations.
One more important tip to make you less like
Dopey and more like
Doc! Before you purchase the seventh Guest's tickets, be sure to check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to make sure that there is availability for the parks your group already has booked. Even Dwarfs need a reservation to enter all four of the theme parks, so this is a planning step that you definitely don't want to skip!
I hope this was helpful, Jim, and I hope your group of seven has the most magical and memorable time! I suggest that you come up with your Seven Dwarf names now to add to the fun and anticipation. On my family's last visit, we jokingly nicknamed my wife Grumpy, my daughter Sneezy, and yours truly Thirsty. We still laugh about our nicknames!
Jim, feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in planDisney!
Hum a merry tune,
Mandy
