If I already purchased my theme park tickets, Can I add oogey boogie bash pass after the fact?

Hey there, hi there, Camilo! Welcome to planDisney. We are thrilled you decided to stop by with a question for us.

I'm excited to hear that you already have tickets and plans to visit Disneyland Resort during Halloween Time. I have to say it's one of my favorite times to visit! My favorite has to be the amazing decorations and ambiance of Radiator Springs turning into Radiator Screams. I'm happy to report that Oogie Boogie Bash is a special event, therefore, it is a separately ticketed event. So you would need a standard ticket or park hopper to visit the parks during the day and an Oogie Boogie Bash ticket if you wanted to enjoy the event. Now I will say that this is THE event of the year, and tickets will sell out fast. I recommend keeping an eye on the Disneyland Instagram account and Disney Parks Blog for an announcement on when tickets will go on sale. I wouldn't be surprised if it is within the next month when you look back at when they've gone on sale the last few years.

If you are one of the lucky ones to score tickets to the event, I would see if it's possible to extend your trip by a day and use your park ticket for a day before or after the event. Special events allow Guests to enter the park a few hours before the event starts, which means you can be in the park mid-afternoon. To me, it makes more sense to save a standard ticket for another day or visit and just have a slow morning, get on your costume, and enjoy the event!

Camilo, however you decide to celebrate Halloween time and visit the parks, I am sure it will be spooktacular!

While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
