    HiYa, Elizabeth!

You'll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the most magical season of all, and you'll definitely want to capture every moment with both Disney's Memory Maker as well as your own personal camera. Disney's PhotoPass service is absolutely amazing because everyone in your party can be in your vacation photos. But even with these services, you'll definitely want to capture photos of your family having fun when Disney's shutterbugs aren't around.

I'm happy to share that small camera stabilizers are allowed inside Disney's Parks. These can be the handheld kind of which you speak and used while you're exploring the parks; they can be the compact wrap-around mountable tri-pod style (the ones that are small enough to fit inside a backpack); and you can even wear a secure micro action camera on your person while enjoying an attraction. You're right that telescoping mounts like selfie sticks or really tall tri-pods are not allowed. However, most hand-held stabilizer sticks only extend a few inches; the ones that are banned are the ones that extend multiple feet. So you should be fine.

Walt Disney World Resort will still be beautifully decorated during your visit. Be sure to check out the larger-than-life Gingerbread Displays, the Christmas Tree Trail at Disney Springs, and the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays!

    We'll See You Real Soon!
